the SIMA TECHNOSTRAP one step process. A technology that make possible to start from a 100% PET bottle flakes or PET recycled material to obtain a high add value commodity like STRAPPING TAPE.

From 800 to 8.000 Tons/Year capacity, SIMA strap extrusion lines are delivered in assembling condition ready to produce after one week installation for years and years.

FLEXIBILITY
From 5,0 to 32,0 mm strapping tape wide range, PP or PET strap can be produced by the same technology to meet different market requirements, changing line set up in few minutes.

STRETCHING & ANNEALING
to gives to the strap the mechanical properties (tenacity, elongation) required:

stretching group capable to support up to 7 Tons draw power rollers thermo regulates through diathermic oil and water cooled, plasma coated and/or chromium plated to minimize the slippage easy threading up of the line and high production speed with low number of rollerinsulated ovens with air flow and temperature both regulated and controlledspecial large annealing oven to grant the relaxation time to the strapcooling water tank suitable for multiple passage to stop the strap molecular reaction before winding.

PRE TREATEMENT & EXTRUSION
Automatic cycles of crystallizing and drying for PCR PET raw material
Constant monitoring of the dew-point value for PET humidity control
Precision in dosing and mixing raw material and additives in feeding process
Extruder designed and tested for a wide range of applications
Suitable metering pump to keep constant strap weigth
Large capacity stainless steel quenching tank for water temperature stability
