The new SIMA extrusion line Technotape is the most advanced technological solution in the field of PP and HDPE tapes production, designed for the fabrication of low-denier tape for weaving and other technical applications.
The Technotape line,unique in the world, is conceived to offer to the Customers the most advanced technology and economical combination of quality and flexibility based on a half century of SIMA experience. A striking feature of this line is its modular concept which results in minimal investment for the application.
The widest range of configurations is possible, going from remaining shrinkages of 5% up to configurations with remaining shrinkages very close to 0%.
Another substantial advantage present in these new extrusion lines, is not so much the absolute value of shrinkage, as the control of such a value on all simultaneously extruded tapes (what is generally called "controlled shrinkage").
The modular principle is obtained by adding annealing units, which are autonomus but always have synchronized heated rollers.
The extrusion line Technotape ensures with the smallest investment compared with its high productivity, to cover the requirements of many market sectors, maintaining at the same time a high level of reliability and efficiency, not to mention the top quality of the finished product.
